God

Anything that one believes about God is fairly abitrary. All of my beliefs either come from someone else who I think makes sense, or from my own mind/pineal gland. If God has a gender, I think it would be female. Although there can be no birth without a male involved somewhere in the process, it is ultimately the female who does the creating of a new life. Judging by the world's fairly random and chaotic nature, the name Eris and all the connotations that go with it seem like a pretty good next step.

God (whomever she may be) must like chaos, 'cause she sure made alot of it! That must be a quote from somewhere, I can't think of where, but something like it probably appears in the Principia Discordia.

God is female, named Eris and likes to make the world more interesting. I find it easier to use God as a gender neutral term, even though I suppose some people think it has male connotations, but I'll go on calling Eris (Greek Goddess of Chaos), God. Or go to purple. Or stay here. Or expand to twice your regular size, turn purple and explode. In the end, it is not one's larger beliefs that determine one's religion, but rather the small details about the identity of god. I used to consider my beliefs to be psuedo-christian, and to a certain extent, in that they haven't changed, they still are. But having carefully examined them, I've decided that they are more Discordian in nature. But they don't mesh with Discordianism exactly, so I am an Episkopos of Discordian society, not a regular legionnaire of Discordian society. I am Chrizard le Channing, High Pontiff of the eastern church of Christicism. Christicism being the name that I've given to my particular set of beliefs.
